While speaking to reporters today after Penguins practice, Sidney Crosby said that he has been cleared for contact.
Dejan Kovacevic of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review broke the news through his Twitter feed with quotes from Crosby.

Dave Molinari, a Pittsburgh Penguins beat writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has Crosby’s return as early as Sunday’s game at home against the Boston Bruins.
Crosby said that he could play, but only if there are no setbacks.
