Sidney Crosby Illness: Updates on Penguins Star’s Status and Return

By now, Pittsburgh Penguins fans have come to accept that Sidney Crosby could be taken from them at any moment. He played in a total of 99 games between the 2010-11 and 2012-13 seasons.

Those problems reared their ugly head for the 27-year-old center, as he was held out of the Penguins' game against the Bruins on Saturday with an undisclosed illness. However, he was able to return for Sunday's game against Detroit.
