San Jose 4, St. Louis 0 (Series Tied 1-1)

The San Jose Sharks dominated Game 2 of the Western Conference Final against the St. Louis Blues to head back home even in the best-of-seven series.

Brent Burns netted a pair of goals for the Sharks, who took the crowd at the Scottrade Center out of the game instantly Tuesday night.

Tommy Wingels opened the scoring two minutes and seven seconds into the contest.

Burns struck for the first of his two power-play goals with seven minutes gone in the second period, blasting a slapshot past Brian Elliott.

The defender sealed the victory for the Sharks on the man advantage in the third period, sending another blazing shot over the glove of Elliott. Dainius Zubrus added an empty-net tally for San Jose with 18 seconds remaining in the third.

St. Louis' lack of success on the power play and its inability to sustain pressure in the attacking zone killed its chances of leaving home with a two-game advantage in the series.

The teams will head to the SAP Center in San Jose, California, to play Game 3 on Thursday night.
