Sharks’ Tomas Hertl Gets Hit in Face by Puck, Smiles Through Injury

January 6th, 2015 by Kyle Newport Leave a reply »

San Jose Sharks center Tomas Hertl was forced to leave Monday's game against the Winnipeg Jets early in the third period, after teammate Logan Couture's clearing attempt went very wrong.

While sitting on the bench, Hertl got nailed in the face by the errant puck.

Hockey players are notoriously tough, but maintaining an ear-to-ear smile after getting socked in the face with a puck is pretty impressive.
