On paper, Wednesday’s matchup between the Ottawa Senators and the Pittsburgh Penguins isn’t the sexiest of the week, but the talent on both teams will result in an excellent game to watch.

Pittsburgh’s offensive talent is well documented—led by stars Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin—but it’s the surprisingly good defensive depth in Ottawa and the stellar play of the goaltenders that have kept the Senators in contention in the Eastern Conference.

The meeting of the Penguins' great offense and the Senators' great defense is intriguing to all NHL fans, and Wednesday’s meeting will prove which team’s best players are superior.
