In the first period, Slava Voynov scored to give the Kings a 1-0 lead. Voynov's goal came on a slap shot with just 13 seconds to go after a relatively tight-checking first period.
In the second period, Slava Voynov's point shot found a way past Antti Niemi to make it 2-0 for Los Angeles. The puck hit someone on the way to the net, so look for a possible scoring change later in this game.
