Sportsnet Canada: Sharks To Interview Randy Carlyle

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet Canada, the Sharks have received permission to interview former Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle for their vacancy:
On April 21, the Sharks and McLellan parted ways after a successful seven-year stretch that included a 40-33-9 mark in 2014-15. McLellan told The Associated Press (via ESPN.com) that he sees the franchise going through a potentially long rebuilding phase: "This team is clearly in a rebuild. With one year left, heading forward I had to analyze where everything was going. I felt with some of the answers I got that it was time."
