Rick Nash Injury: Updates on Rangers Star’s Status

It's unclear what exactly is wrong with New York Rangers winger Rick Nash, but it's going to force him to miss some time. 

According to ESPN's Katie Strang, the veteran star will be out of the lineup on Tuesday night against the Montreal Canadians:



The mystery ailment hadn't held him out of the lineup until now. 

Nash missed practice Saturday and was questionable for Sunday, but he suited up in full and dished out one assist in New York's 2-1 win over Washington.

When Strang asked head coach John Tortorella what was wrong with Nash, Tortorella simply said it was "none of your business."

Nash, one of last season's most highly coveted players, has been an instant success in New York. 

In 14 games, he has already racked up three goals, nine assists and a plus/minus rating of plus-nine en route to leading the Rangers to a 8-5-1 record. 



Still, the nature in which New York is keeping his ailment a secret has to be at least a little concerning.
