Restructuring Continues; Chicago Blackhawks Send Colin Fraser To Edmonton

While opinions continue to surface regarding yesterday's move by the Blackhawks organization, Colin Fraser was traded to the Edmonton Oilers for a sixth-round draft pick.

Fraser, 25, played in 70 games for the Stanley Cup Champions last season. He accumulated seven goals and 12 assists. 

Fraser was set for restricted free agency on July 1. It remained unclear whether the Hawks would bring the young center back for another year.

Last year Fraser was a $700,000 salary cap hit and with the Hawks in the middle of massive re-tooling, this doesn't come to surprise of many fans.
