Ranking the Top 5 Goals from Week 4 of the 2013-14 NHL Season

Alex Ovechkin is at the top of the NHL's goal-scoring ladder along with Alex Steen of the St. Louis Blues.

While not every goal Ovie scores is going to be a memorable one, he seems to score a lot of goals that could go in an NHL time capsule.

Ovechkin had one of those beauties last week when the Washington Capitals visited the Winnipeg Jets. There were a number of stunning goals throughout the NHL last week.

Here are the top five goals from the week of Oct. 20 through Oct. 26.



 

5. Getzlaf finishes the job

The Anaheim Ducks were in a bit of trouble when they hosted the Dallas Stars Oct. 20. The Stars were rolling and built up a 3-1 lead after one period.

The Ducks were undaunted and came roaring back with three goals in the second period. They started the third with a slim 4-3 lead, but they were not content to try to maintain a one-goal advantage.
