What? Did you expect the Philadelphia Flyers to blow up a team currently sitting atop the Eastern Conference standings in order to to mash a big name player onto their roster at the NHL Trade Deadline yesterday?

In the days approaching the February 28 Trade Deadline, Paul Holmgren tweaked his roster instead, adding toughness and depth to the Flyers organization.

To the Mullet Points!

* In the moments approaching the deadline, Philadelphia sent prospect Michael Chaput (2010 third round selection, No. 89 overall) and Adirondack Phantoms forward Greg Moore to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for power forward Tom Sestito.

Sestito has two goals, two assists and 64 PIM in 13 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets. He will be assigned to the Adirondack Phantoms.

What was The Hockey News' analysis of Sestito when he was selected by the Blue Jackets in the third round (No. 85 overall) of the 2006 NHL Draft?

"Hulking winger with third-line potential, though he's more likely to play a role on the fourth line at the highest level."
