Philadelphia Flyers Have a Weekend to Forget

When I was a little tyke, I had two enormous fears: getting coal in my stocking and seeing the Flyers getting manhandled by the Penguins.

Well, thanks to my parents, just one of those fears was realized so far.

As you all may or may not know, our beloved Flyers were indeed demolished by the oh-so-hated Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday.

While I know you are dying of laughter right now (or not), I'm here to say that things will only get better for the Flyers. I was sure that the Penguins wouldn't drop two in a row to us.

The power play continues to be a problem for the Flyers. Only about nine percent of our power plays are ending with goals. The league average is around 17 percent.
