Philadelphia Flyers’ 2013-14 NHL Schedule: Must-See Games, Predictions & More

The 2013-14 NHL schedule has finally been released and it follows the new four-division structure that goes along with the league's realignment efforts.

The Philadelphia Flyers find themselves in the new Metropolitan Division, which is just about as bad of a name as you can get for a division.

In the Western Conference, there are two seven-team divisions—the Pacific and Midwest. In the Eastern Conference, the Atlantic and Metropolitan divisions have eight teams each.

The realignment and new scheduling aim to have every team play in every arena at least once a season, which is actually a pretty cool premise.

But their schedule is tough and they have a couple of hard road trips which could end up being the deciding factor of their season.

Here's a breakdown of Philadelphia's schedule and new division, along with a prediction of where the Flyers will finish in the new Eastern Conference.
