Peter Mueller: With What Team Will He Finish the Season?

The biggest name that has drawn the most off-the-ice attention for the Phoenix Coyotes is Peter Mueller.

Sidney Crosby, Patrick Kane, Anze Kopitar, Jonathan Toews, and Peter Mueller are the only teen-aged rookies to score at least 50 points since the NHL lock-out back in 2005.

Despite the potential, Mueller has struggled this season with the Coyotes.

Mueller’s ice-time has decreased this season as well—his last game on Wednesday, he registered 11:09 minutes on the ice, the second-fewest minutes on the team next to Paul Bissonnette.

Mueller’s best season with the Coyotes came during his rookie season, when he registered 54 points. Last season was a bit of a downer for Mueller, who registered for 36 points.

Heading into this season, Mueller was predicted to be one of the team leaders in scoring. As of today, Mueller has only scored once.

It has been a very frustrating season for Mueller, as the Coyotes have become one of the hottest teams in the Western Conference. While the Coyotes continue to win, Mueller has not contributed much to their success.
