It didn't happen Thursday night for the Pittsburgh Penguins, but there are no tears in their locker room.

They realize they have another opportunity to win the championship if the Penguins can defeat the San Jose Sharks Sunday night in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final at the SAP Center in San Jose. 

NBC will televise the game nationally at 8 p.m. ET, and you can stream it on NHL.TV. 

The pattern of the series between the two conference champions took a dramatic turn in Game 5, as the Sharks managed a 4-2 win at the Consol Energy Center to remain alive in the series. The Sharks had been playing from behind throughout the series, but that changed as they scored the two opening goals early in the first period.

While the Penguins would bounce back quickly, the good start from Peter DeBoer's squad provided the team with some confidence. Logan Couture, who had been struggling in the series, finished the first period with a goal and two assists, while Brent Burns scored the opening goal of the game just 1:04 after the opening faceoff.
