Joonas Donskoi scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift the San Jose Sharks to a 3-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night at the SAP Center in San Jose.

The Penguins still lead the best-of-seven series 2-1, but the Sharks seem to have seized some momentum with the first Stanley Cup Final win in franchise history coming in front of home fans who waited 25 years to see their team play on home ice in the Final.

Joel Ward's slapper beat Matt Murray off the glove with just over 11 minutes remaining in regulation to force the extra frame. Justin Braun also added a goal, and Martin Jones made 40 saves to lift San Jose in a must-win game.

Ben Lovejoy and Patric Hornqvist scored for the Penguins.

Game 4 is scheduled for Monday night in San Jose.
