Pavel Datsyuk Injury: Updates on Red Wings Star’s Groin and Return

The Detroit Red Wings will be without their second-leading goal scorer Pavel Datsyuk on Friday night against the New Jersey Devils. 

According to Tom Gulitti of The Bergen Record, Datsyuk was injured during the team's morning skate before tonight's game:

Datsyuk has only appeared in eight of Detroit's 13 games thus far, but has made his time count with 10 points. He's been slowed of late, being held without a point in his last two games. The Red Wings are off to a 6-3-4 start, fifth in the Atlantic Division.
