Chicago Blackhawks left winger Patrick Sharp sustained a leg injury during the team's 5-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night.
Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports noted the injury during the game:
Sharp, 32, has been one of the most consistent players for the Blackhawks throughout his 10-year stay with the team. Coming over from the Philadelphia Flyers in 2005-06, Sharp has scored 60 or more points in five seasons.
Last year, Sharp was on the ice for 82 games and had a career-high 78 points for Chicago.

If Sharp is forced to miss time, the Blackhawks would lose a great scoring option. Shuffling the lines would mean Bryan Bickell might see a more prominent role in the top six.
