Patrice Bergeron Injury: Updates on Bruins Star’s Status

Patrice Bergeron's health is a concern, as the Boston Bruins center was taken out of Game 5 against the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday night.

CSNNE.com's Joe Haggerty reported that Claude Julien is a little in the dark about the extent of Patrice Bergeron's injury. He could play the next game. It's still up in the air.

TSN's Darren Dreger couldn't offer exactly what the problem was with Patrice Bergeron, but he was told the center did not suffer a head injury.

Mike Lynch of WCVB in Boston reported Bergeron was taken to an ambulance after going down in the second period.



It wasn't a good sign when Bergeron was absent on the bench to start the third period, as ESPN Boston's Joe McDonald reported.
