Free agency is under way and the Rangers have been active, signing a key defenseman in Dan Boyle while losing forwards Benoit Pouliot, Brad Richards and Brian Boyle and defenseman Anton Stralman. They've also added depth forward Tanner Glass, former member of the Pittsburgh Penguins and depth defensemen Mike Kostka and Matt Hunwick. The Rangers have also re-signed C Dominic Moore.

Brian Boyle the latest former Rangers player to sign elsewhere. The big fourth-line forward signs a three-year, $6.9 million deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
