NHL Trade Speculation: Many Teams Would Die To Land Brad Richards This Offseason

April 11th, 2011 by donald wood Leave a reply »
Brad Richards is one of the best centers in the NHL today, and on July 1, 2011, he will be an unrestricted free agent.

There are plenty of teams who could use a player of his caliber, and he will draw plenty of interest when teams can sign free agents.

In 72 games this season, Richards had 79 points and was a major target for teams at the 2011 NHL trade deadline.

Between his superb passing skills and his fantastic vision of the ice, he will be one of the top free agents of the offseason.

A player like Richards doesn’t come along in the free-agency market often, and some teams will view him as the answer to their team’s problems.

Teams will throw a ton of money his way, but Richards will have to decide whether the money or winning another Stanley Cup will be more important to him.
