NHL Trade Rumors: You Can’t Fire Me, I Quit: Jarome Iginla Should Demand Trade

So, here we go again, for the second season in a row, Jarome Iginla is smack-dab in the middle of the trade rumor-mill and isn't likely to get out of it until he's traded, or his season ends.

In case you're interested, and assuming you've only recently come in to possession of a computer and an interest in hockey, you can read many fine prognostications of where Iginla will go and who the Flames should get in return on this site and scores of others.

Just go ahead and enter "Jarome Iginla trade" into your favorite search engine, and you'll have about six hours of reading material to keep you busy.

Iginla to the Kings.  Iginla to New York (Islanders and Rangers). Iginla to Ottawa.

These trade scenarios are everywhere and range from the logically possible, to the fantastically stupid.

I am not going to add another one to the list; there's plenty of different flavors to chose from for those hungry for such things.

However, what you'll find similar about all of them is that the basic premise these scenarios work under is that the Flames should trade Iginla.

Think about that for a minute.
