NHL Trade Rumors: Power Ranking Jarome Iginla’s Best Potential Landing Spots

The NHL trade deadline is scheduled for April 3, and by far the biggest name rumored to be on the block is Calgary Flames captain Jarome Iginla.

According to Renaud Lavoie of RDS (h/t ProHockeyTalk.com), Iginla has submitted a list of four teams to the Flames—Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles and Pittsburgh—that the veteran would accept a trade to if dealt by the deadline.

Iginla is in his 16th NHL season, and despite the fact that the right wing is 35 years old, there is little doubt that he can still play at a high level. With little offensive support around him, Iginla has still managed to amass 22 points in 30 games.

The talent is still there for Iginla, and the trade interest will be there as well, now that it’s clear Calgary will listen to offers. Of all the possible landing spots for the two-way forward, the following three locations would be the best.
