The Philadelphia Flyers have been all quiet on the trade front so far, but I suspect it's just a matter of time before the Flyers make their move. Some NHL clubs have already begun doing so, which just puts the pressure on other teams to make a move even faster.
The Flyers have been in the rumor mill for a few months and they have scouted a few teams this season such as the Chicago Blackhawks, Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers.
There are very strong rumors that Philadelphia is interested in J.S. Giguere, but the move would not make any sense and the Flyers would have to cut their roster in half just to fit him in. He has too high of a cap hit ($6 million) and he just hasn't been playing well this year.
Philadelphia has also apparently been shopping around for a winger, most likely for Mike Richards to play with. With that said, the Toronto Maple Leafs have let it be known that they are "not done dealing yet"—even with the trades they have made so far—which only leads people to believe that Toronto is open for business.
