NHL Trade Rumors: Latest on Andrew Hammond, Islanders’ Scoring Search

It might be early in the NHL season, but teams around the league are already looking to make some drastic changes given their starts.

That means that the trade market has been the topic of conversation recently, as some notable names and surprising teams are looking to make moves. 

Here is the latest on some of the most recent rumors.

    

Andrew Hammond Ottawa Senators goalie Andrew Hammond has been experiencing quite a fall from grace over the past three years. 

As a little-known second-year man in 2014-15, Hammond burst onto the scene and won 20 of his 23 starts, leading the Senators to an improbable postseason run. 

With a .941 save percentage and 1.79 goals-against average, he finished in the top 10 of Vezina Trophy voting despite his limited time on the ice. 

Since then, though, Hammond has struggled, especially this season, as he's started just two games while allowing six goals with a .793 save percentage.
