NHL Trade Rumors: Latest Involving Jacob Trouba and Cam Fowler

Less than one week separates hockey fans from another NHL season, but that doesn't mean that teams are content with their rosters. 

As the clock ticks down to puck drop, there are still some trade rumors swirling around that involve big names who may be on the cusp of being shipped to new locations. 

Here is the latest from the NHL rumor mill.

    Jacob Trouba Winnipeg Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba is looking to become a premier blueliner in the NHL, and he believes he can't do it in Manitoba. 

On Sept. 24, his agent, Kurt Overhardt, released this statement (via Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet): 

Our client, Jacob Trouba, will not be attending the Winnipeg Jets NHL training camp. Since May, we have been working with the Jets management in an effort to facilitate a trade of Jacob’s rights. Both parties continue to work on this matter.
