Dustin Penner looks like he should be a dominant power forward.

He has played a key postseason role with the 2007 Anaheim Ducks and the 2012 Los Angeles Kings, both of whom won the Stanley Cup championship.

Penner, 30, is a 6'4" and 242-pound left wing. With his size and strength, Penner looks like he should be a dominant power forward. He has the size and strength to anchor a position in front of the net and cause havoc for opposing goalies.

He also has the size and power to assert himself physically in any confrontation.

Despite having the prerequisites, Penner has not played to his potential in recent years. He scored seven regular-season goals for the Kings last year and has just one this year. He has been a frequent healthy scratch for Daryl Sutter's team.

According to Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada, the Kings would like to move Penner (through Sportsnet.ca).

There are only a few teams that would probably consider trading for him, since he has not been dependable.
