With the 2011 NHL Playoffs just a few months away, NHL Clubs will be looking to improve their team in hopes of the ultimate prize: Lord Stanley's Cup.

Trade talks have heated up between a number of teams, and a few deals have already been made. Today, I am going to target ten former Philadelphia Flyers forwards who are set to become Unrestricted Free Agents after the 2010-11 season. The Flyers have anywhere from $3-4 million in available space for acquisitions come the trade deadline February 27.

When players are impeding UFA's they can sometimes be trade bait, if the club can not afford their salary or are due for a hefty raise. Age can also be a huge factor.

All of these players could be targets for potential trades in the coming weeks leading up to the trade deadline. I stress the word COULD, because some of these players are most likely going to stay with their respective clubs, but I thought it would be fun to throw the idea out there.
