So it's that time again where we have reached the quarter point of the NHL season. Many teams are beginning the ascent up the standings, while others are taking a nosedive.
With that said, there has been some absolute great individual performances this season.
When we look at most valuable players (MVPs), we don't necessarily want to look at a player's statistics, but rather their worth to their respective club. In other words, if that player were not on the team, would they still be as successful as they were?
There are so many candidates this season that it was hard to think of just 10, but that's what I attempted to do here.
This list includes all players, including goaltenders, since they can win MVPs too, but it's not as likely.
