Sorry for not having an update the past few days. I've been pretty busy and the site has been on the fritz for me at least.

 

Tim Thomas

It is no surprise that Tim Thomas will have limited icetime once again this season. A former Vezina winner, two-time NHL All Star, and 2010 USA Olympian, Thomas will have to take on a backup goaltender's role this season. If I were him, I'd demand a trade. Where could he land? Sources are saying Philadelphia, but Washington could also be a destination. Remember those Semin for Thomas rumors? They could hold some truth.

 

Brad Richards

Brad Richards is not being shopped right now. Sources are saying that once the team is sold, the number one priority should be signing Richards to an extension. 

 

Sheldon Souray

Let's face it. No one will take on Souray's bloated contract right now. So how can Oilers GM Steve Tambellini move him? Re-entry waivers could be enticing for a few teams as they would only have to pay half the salary.
