NHL Scouting Combine 2012 Results: Highlights & Breakout Performers

The NHL scouting combine continued on Friday in Toronto with top prospects such as Nail Yakupov of the OHL's Sarnia Sting taking part in physical tests and interviews with teams.

The combine is a great place for team executives and scouts to look at the physical attributes of the prospects they are thinking about drafting. The players go through a number of drills such as the vertical jump, standing broad jump, bench press and bike tests.

Interviews with the players give general managers an opportunity to ask questions about their game, their hockey career and about life in general. Prospects are also able to discuss injuries, how they can improve their game and why they should be chosen high in the draft.
