NHL: Ruslan Fedotenko Accepts Training Camp Offer From the New York Rangers

According to multiple NHL outlets including Bob Mckenzie and Stan Fischler, Ruslan Fedotenko will be training with the New York Rangers later this month. The invitation was sent to Fedotenko earlier this week, and after a few days of pondering his options, Fedotenko decided to accept.

Fedotenko scored 11 goals, 19 assists, and 30 points for the Penguins last season, and could be an adequate addition for the New York Rangers if he does well during training camp.

Stan Fischler: "I like Ruslan Fedotenko getting a tryout with Rangers. John Tortorella can get the best out of a guy who still has much to give."

He believes this was a good move by Glen Sather, and if he works out in training camp I think he could get one-year with the Rangers.

Stay tuned, much more could be coming soon from the New York Rangers as they now have sixteen NHL ready forwards!
