NHL Rumors: Latest Trade Speculation from Around the League

While you settle down to Thanksgiving dinner with your friends and family, the front offices around the NHL will be taking a long, hard look at their rosters and deciding whether they are buyers or sellers this season.

At this point, there have been enough games that teams have a general idea about whether they have a chance at the Stanley Cup playoffs or not and will respond accordingly. 

With that in mind, here is a look at some of the latest trade speculation from around the NHL.

 

Toronto Maple Leafs



The Fourth Period passed along an update on the Toronto Maple Leafs:

“Maple Leafs GM Dave Nonis has been working the phone lines, but insists he isn't rushing into a move. The Leafs are believed to be dangling winger Joffrey Lupul, who continues to recover from a broken finger.”

It is worth mentioning that Joffrey Lupul has a limited no-trade clause and can list up to 16 teams that he won’t actually play for in a potential swap.
