Offense


Artem Anisimov - You can't complain about anything he has done thus far. He has played a solid game on both ends and managed to put 2 goals in the net. I am a big AA fan and I still think he makes a big jump this year.

Sean Avery - Avery has been one of the most impressive players in preseason. He has been retro Avery getting under the skin of the other team's big players (I am looking at you Kovalchuk), drawing penalties, and scoring goals. He looks good to go.

Derek Boogaard - I always felt his scoring drought was overblown and it was mostly because of how he was used in Minny and that his contract wasn't that bad. If he can continue to play the way he is right now and actually get some people to drop the gloves with him I don't think anyone is going to complain anymore. He has 1 goal, but was close to getting at least one more so far.

Brian Boyle - One of the most pleasant surprises. He has used his massive frame to hit opposing players and done a great job with the score sheet scoring 2 goals and adding an assist. He knew his job was on the line and answered the call big time.
