NHL Playoffs: Ryan Parent Returns To Lineup for Game 2 for Philadelphia Flyers

According to Anthony SanFilippo , the Flyers will dress defenseman Ryan Parent for Friday night’s Game 2 against the New Jersey Devils.

It’s unknown at this time who he will replace in the lineup, but it’s either Oskars Bartulis or Lukas Krajicek.

Bartulis took a double minor for high sticking in the third period, forcing the Flyers to exert a ton of energy killing off a four-minute power play.

Krajicek was ineffective, logging 8:20 minutes in Game 1. He was paired with Kimmo Timonen in the first period, but Peter Laviolette demoted him to the third pairing after the first intermission.

Parent was a healthy scratch, because of his poor decision-making down the stretch, but he offers more of a defensive-minded game than Bartulis and Krajicek, plus he has more playoff experience.
