NHL Playoffs: Flyers Do It Again with Confidence, Superstition, and Goaltending

The Philadelphia Flyers won at home, again.

I waited until the horn sounded and I knew we drew first blood to walk into the family room.

However, once there was only a one goal lead, I told Jeff I had to leave the room to save the game.

I hit the potty and the Flyers hit an empty net goal!

Toilets flushing, Jeff screaming and horns blaring...welcome to my world.

At least no one can argue that my sixth sense does not kick in when it is time to say adios!  I actually watched all but four minutes of the game when the "eeky" feeling came over me.

It was an interesting game.

The goal tending on the part of both teams was outstanding.

The Flyers played a more conservative game than I would have liked.

The first period was their best so I relaxed to watch on the 63" TV waiting for a really good fight. Chicago scored the first penalty, I was very confident that I was going to watch an entire game.

They left the ice three to one at the end of the first intermission. I was feeling like queen of the virtual ice.
