NHL Lockout Triggers Taylor Swift Parody Music Video

I hope you're happy, NHL. You are about to inspire a wave of parody videos from every music video from "Call Me Maybe" to "Gangnam Style." Consider this one of the first shots across the bow of your ship. 

It may not be the best way to express yourself, but we found that creative fans love to make parody videos. Here is one that utilizes Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."

If there were no games being played, I'm sure there would be millions of hours of just home-made videos with singers belting out some crafty lyrics. 

Well, the NHL is in full lockout mode once again. 

Before the league places itself on near-death mode, there is going to be a wave of videos from the last fans who crave the sport. 

The Huffington Post spots this beautiful video complete with a Don Cherry bobblehead and a young woman in an Oilers jersey who makes Winnipeg references. 

It's enough to make even the most fair-weather hockey fan a little depressed.
