NHL Lockout: NHL and NHLPA Set to Meet on Friday

The NHL and NHLPA have not met formally for CBA negotiations since the lockout went into effect, but it appears that is about to change.

Multiple sources have reported and confirmed that the NHL and the NHLPA will come back to the negotiating table on Friday in New York City. 

Chris Johnston of the Canadian Press sent out this tweet about a meeting scheduled for Friday:

 

The NHL and NHLPA have agreed to resume labour talks on Friday. A location has yet to be determined.

TSN insider Darren Dreger also sent out this tweet to suggest that New York City would be the site for the next round of negotiations:
