The NHL lockout doesn't appear to be ending anytime soon.

With both the owners and the players far away from any sort of resolution, the possibility of a cancelled season looms large in the minds of hockey fans.

Fortunately, social media serves as the great psychiatrist. Always ready to hear the rants and gripes of fans, Twitter is the sounding board for angry fans and the best place to see updates on negotiations. Unfortunately, there are a lot more complaints than updates on actual negotiations.

Katie Strang of ESPN reports that NHL commissioner Gary Bettman has proposed a two-week moratorium on negotiations.
