NHL Fantasy: Three Centers You Shouldn’t Sleep On

In no specific order, these are three centers that you shouldn't sleep on in fantasy leagues.

 

Travis Zajac - New Jersey Devils

Last season, Travis Zajac put up a very solid point total of 67 points in 82 games and I expect more from him next season. Zajac has increased his point total every year since the 07-08 season and I don't see why it would stop now.

With Zajac having at least one of Patrik Elias, Zach Parise, and possibly Ilya Kovalchuk on his line at almost all times, his point production will increase. I am not saying his point total will increase due to the fact that they will make him better, but the fact that they will free up more space for Zajac to carry the puck. 

Prediction: 73-80 points

 

Matthew Lombardi - Nashville Predators

As you all know, Matthew Lombardi recently signed with the Nashville Predators. I know many of you are think that Lombardi is just an average fantasy player, but when you look at the Predators depth chart you notice that he is undoubtedly the team's first-line center.
