NHL Draft 2016: TV, Live-Stream Schedule and 1st-Round Mock Draft Predictions

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reigned as Stanley Cup champions for less than two weeks, but they and the rest of the NHL must set their sights on Friday night's NHL draft from Buffalo, New York. 

First-pick honors sit with the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have an opportunity to draft forward Auston Matthews, who is regarded by many as the best player in the draft class. 

But 29 other teams will look to add the right prospect for their respective needs. Let's take a look at how you can watch the selection process and whom each team might select in the first round:



Matthews isn't considered the unanimous first pick. Winger Patrik Laine put together a solid season in the Finnish league as an 18-year-old, racking up 33 points in 46 games. 

At 6'4", he is a large presence who could play on a first line and beat you in every way possible. He has soft hands, speed, power and a ferocious shot. It makes him the only player in the draft comparable to Matthews.
