NHL Draft 2010: Who Fits the Detroit Red Wings’ Mold?

I'd like to begin by saying that by writing this article I am in no way giving up on my team before the battle is over. We're coming down the homestretch and our beloved Red Wings are thick in the hunt. We've made the playoffs every year since I was born (you're welcome) and while I still draw breath, I will not give up on the Red and White. Signed, Michael R. The 2010 NHL Entry Draft is but a few short months away, and while highly paid scouts debate Hall vs Seguin, we faithful Wingnuts debate which seventh round gem to steal. With the emergence of Jimmy Howard between the pipes for the Wings and prospects Daniel Larsson and Thomas McCollum in Grand Rapids, Ken Holland and Co will shift their focus to shoring up their D and Forward reserves. The Wings could use a right handed shot at the point and some size up front. There is also room for more toughness throughout the lineup. Although the fan in me says the Wings will be picking 30th come June, I understand that others might not be so optimistic about our chances. For argument's sake, we'll place them at #19 in the draft order out of respect for Stevie Y. ...
