NHL Declares “History Will Be Made” with New Campaign

Every postseason in the NHL brings forth a new leader, a new hero, and a new legend.

The NHL’s new “History Will Be Made” campaign has made fans remember the heroes of playoffs past, and the possibilities of what the future may bring.

“It’s always an extraordinary time of the year,” NHL Executive VP of Marketing Brian Jennings said in an interview with Bleacher Report on Friday. “…The playoffs have done nothing but capture the imagination of our fans.”

The campaign shows some of the greatest moments in the history of the NHL playoffs and rewinds them in slow motion—leaving the fans with the question, “What if this didn’t happen?”

From Bobby Orr’s “flying” goal in the 1970 Stanley Cup Final to Mark Messier raising the Cup with the New York Rangers in 1994, no iconic moment is spared.
