Here is today's edition of NHL Buzz, featuring the latest news and rumors from across the NHL.

Like I suggested yesterday, the Buffalo Sabres ARE among the list of teams that has contacted Brian Burke and the Maple Leafs about Tomas Kaberle. The Leafs really like Zack Kassian, but if the Sabres can help it they would like to move someone else.

The first thing I said when Cory Schneider re-signed with the Canucks is that he will probably be traded as he is no use behind Luongo, and, well, the rumors have started already. It is believed the Lightning are among the teams interested.

It has been rumored that the San Jose Sharks will not only let Evgeni Nabokov walk but not sign or trade for a replacement, it is suggested by some that Thomas Greiss can be a No. 1 goaltender.

It is believed that the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to move forward Nikolai Kulemin, as he is believed to be asking around $3 million per year and Brian Burke is not prepared to give him that money.

The Washington Capitals have announced that they will not retain the services of veterans Joe Corvo and Scott Walker.
