It has been a pretty busy week so far (compared to last week anyway). Here is what you should look out for.

A lot of teams such as the Sharks, Ducks, and Kings like Kevin Bieksa. Basically, the Pacific division loves him.

Rumor has it the Oilers are in talks with John Madden about becoming the teams third line center.

If Antti Niemi's arbitration award is too high, the Blackhawks will let him walk and pursue Jose Theodore or Marty Turco.

Blake Wheeler's arbitration award is a one year deal worth $2.2 Million. The Bruins have approximately 36 hours to match the offer or let him test free agency. UPDATE: The Bruins have matched the $2.2M arbitration offer on Blake Wheeler. Sources say they are still trying to move Ryder.

There is also a rumor about five teams that are seriously pursuing Tomas Kaberle. I am hearing teams are anxious to get a deal done.

I am hearing the Bruins are trying to trade Michael Ryder. Sources say if they can't move him or someone else (Savard or Thomas) they will likely have to let Wheeler walk.
