NHL All-Star Game 2015: Live Score, Highlights and Reaction

Always a high-scoring affair, the NHL's 60th All-Star Game set a new record for goals scored on Sunday in Columbus, Ohio.

The "away" team captained by Johnathan Toews took the bragging rights after defeating Nick Foligno's home team by a score of 17-12 at Nationwide Arena.

As expected, it was a game without hits or penalties, though we did see one good-natured scrum after a whistle. With plenty of goals to go around, John Tavares of the New York Islanders led the way with four tallies for Team Toews, tying an All-Star record.

The game easily eclipsed the previous goal-scoring record of 26, set in 2001 in Colorado.

The fan-voted Most Valuable Player was the Columbus Blue Jackets' own center Ryan Johansen, who tallied two goals and two assists in a losing cause for Team Foligno.

Final Score: Team Toews 17 - Team Foligno 12
