NHL 13: Legends Who Would Have Been Great Inclusions in the Game

Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky are absolute must-haves from a legends standpoint in NHL 13. The inclusion of Doug Gilmour and Dominik Hasek was great, and adding four-time Olympic medalists Angela Ruggiero and Hayley Wickenheiser was a nice touch.

However, there are tons of legends that fans would still want to see included in future NHL games, and possibly even an update for NHL 13. 

Two that come to my mind immediately are Bobby and Brett Hull. The Golden Jet is a Hall of Famer and Chicago Blackhawks legend. Blackhawks fans that are also gamers would enjoy playing as him.



Brett is a more contemporary option, and he was one of the greatest pure goal scorers of the last 20 years. An NHL moment based on his 1990-91 season would be awesome. Brett scored 86 goals that season, and his overall rating would have to be in the lower-to-mid 90s.

On the defensive side, Ray Bourque and Brian Leetch would be great additions.

Playing with Bourque and Leetch would be entertaining because of their straight-line speed. Bourque is one of the fastest skating defensemen in history, and I'd love to see how that would transla ...
