Here are a few small rumors regarding the New York Rangers which may be worth watching out for:

Marc Staal: Negotiations with Marc Staal have come to a complete halt, and according to Steve Zipay, Andrew Gross, and Adam Rotter of SNY Rangers Blog, the Rangers may not be able to get Staal resigned until training camp.

 According to a San Jose Sharks source, they are offering Devin Setoguchi and a high draft choice for Marc Staal. For now I'd say take this with a grain of salt (please not it says take this rumor with a grain of salt for now), but I will try to find out more.

HockeyLiveWire reports the Rangers and Sharks are in talks regarding Marc Staal.

According to HockeyLiveWire the Rangers are in talks with the Calgary Flames, and two names being thrown around are Marc Staal, and Mark Giordano.

Add the Ducks to your Marc Staal watch list, as it is believed that the Ducks will contact the Rangers if a deal is not done (with Staal) by the end of the week.

This makes sense because the Rangers are currently cap-struck and they will have to move players around to open cap space.
