New York Rangers Prospects Lose Shocking Goaltending Duel

Today the New York Rangers prospects took on the prospects of the Carolina Hurricanes (who won the tournament last year). For anyone that missed the game, here is a goal-by-goal box score for both teams:

 

First Period

NO SCORING IN THE FIRST PERIOD (Tied 0-0)

 

Second Period

NO SCORING IN THE SECOND PERIOD (Tied 0-0)

 

Third Period

19:05- Carolina's prospect center Zac Dalpe somehow finds the back of the net, scoring the first goal of the game, and the last, winning it for Carolina. (CAR wins 1-0)

 

My New York Rangers Star of the Game:

Cam Talbot: Facing 26 shots and stopping all of them is not an easy task. While Talbot did allow one late goal, which lost the game for the Rangers prospect team, he had an excellent game in general. It will not be easy for Talbot to get over this loss, but now he knows how “King” Henrik feels when the Rangers fail to score when he is in goal.
