New York Rangers Look To Start Winning Streak in Nashville

Tonight, the New York Rangers will pay a visit to the Nashville Predators with the hope of beginning a winning streak. On Friday, the Rangers shutout the Florida Panthers 3-0 on spectacular performances from several players.

Henrik Lundqvist was credited with his third shutout of the season; the win may be a "bounce-back" game for Lundqvist who had lost his previous three starts.

Other key players in the victory were:

Derek Stepan, Brandon Prust, Ryan Callahan, Marc Staal, Sean Avery, and Dan Girardi.

 

Line Swapping

For once, Rangers' coach John Tortorella, made line changes that worked.

The first line was: Brandon Dubinsky, Derek Stepan and Marian Gaborik.

This line moved the puck very well, and they played well together on the power play.

The second line consisted of Ryan Callahan, Brian Boyle and Ruslan Fedotenko.
